We are still looking for interesting off the beaten path places to stay on our way back. We have specifically in, Nashville, Austin, Oklahoma City (hello Kelly!), Pheonix, Eugene.....suggestions welcome!

Today, I have a little post up over at the always lovely sfgirlbybay blog while she is on staycation. We do really plan on stopping by her house and having Henry test out her chalkboard wallpaint.

Just came over from sfgirlbybay. Loved your post over there ("the bad, sexy boyfriend" = awesome). I feel that way about LA. I'm from there but just moved to a suburb about an hour away. Not an island clear across the country, but I relate to a lot of what you wrote about.
