Today, I have a little post up over at the always lovely sfgirlbybay blog while she is on staycation. We do really plan on stopping by her house and having Henry test out her chalkboard wallpaint.

Hello! Just found your blog on sfgirlbybay. I loved reading your post about NYC..."the bad, sexy boyfriend you can't break up with." I understand. I love that place. ;) Friday Harbor, eh? I have never been there, though my friends say there is a fab market on the weekends!

Just came over from sfgirlbybay. Loved your post over there ("the bad, sexy boyfriend" = awesome). I feel that way about LA. I'm from there but just moved to a suburb about an hour away. Not an island clear across the country, but I relate to a lot of what you wrote about.
I'm also looking forward to reading about your adventures. This is something I've always wanted to do (drive cross country with the family, that is).

Wow, this is so exciting! Cannot wait to hear all about your trip. We are taking a 17 day road trip up the East Coast with our one year old next month...so I'm looking for all kinds of tips. = ) Sounds like you guys are much more gutsy than we are!

I'm not sure if you found a place in Phoenix yet, or if you are still coming by here, or if you already have but I have lived here my whole life and would be happy to help you!
Feel free to email me if you have any questions! I can also tell you some awesome places to eat, fun things to do, etc!

Hi Becca!
Thanks so much. We ended up staying in Flagstaff and heading to LA afterwards.
