It's a Match Book

Here is a little post of Russian and Lithuanian matchbox art via the maraid blog.

I also super love these pieces from Russian books. I found these via migueloks Flickr account. Super super cute.

ah I love the elephant! These are really neat. So rich and colorful, but with that really nice vintage feel. Makes you want to hop right into the pictures!
